a. Formerly, other coaters and platers took a 12" sample from the end of each coil and measured coating thickness on the sample. That procedure does not take into account process variation and coil to coil variation.

6. More uniform insertion forces because of better control of coating thickness.

Now with continuous X-Ray monitor, Marjan is able to hold this specification.
